Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the way the world slows down, turns on twinkly lights, and cozies up together. The older I get the more I find myself especially grateful for the little things (like my new favorite hot cocoa recipe I’ll be sharing with you guys soon), and I am approaching every aspect of this holiday season with a lot of intention. 2023 for me, has been all about my wellness game, and naturally, so is this year’s Christmas list. So whether the person you’re shopping for is a certified wellness queen who has their supplements dialed, or is just starting their wellness journey, I’ve rounded up all of my favorites here.
HOME
A small change that has made a big difference in my wellness life at home has been switching to clean, non-toxic cleaning products. There is no better feeling than the one that comes after a deep clean—unless that deep clean comes with a migraine from products full of harmful chemicals. I LOVE this premium starter kit from Branch basics, which contains one multi-purpose, eco-friendly cleaning solution that, when mixed with water in the provided glass bottles, makes laundry detergent, glass cleaner, hand soap and so much more. Another thing on my wish list this year is more stainless steel and all-clad kitchen supplies, because I have absolutely fallen in love with cooking this year. HAIR
This one could *technically* qualify as a home, skin, and hair gift, but I have seen the biggest difference in my hair since I started using the Jolie shower head water filter. This small but mighty and super sleek shower head removes chemicals and heavy metals from your shower water that can dry out your hair and skin. I’m getting one for everyone in my life who doesn’t have one yet because they’re that good.
Everyone knows how obsessed I am with Act & Acre hair care by now, but it truly is the BEST shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used. I’m hoping that some of their cold pressed conditioner makes its way under the tree for me this year, because I cannot get enough.
FRAGRANCE
I have always been a perfume girl. I love smelling good and I think perfume helps me feel *extra* put together. That’s why I was so sad when I found out that so many of my favorite perfumes had so many unregulated, unsafe ingredients in them that were banned outside the U.S. I just put the “Windows Down” scent by Henry Rose perfumes on my list after the brand sent me their starter kit to try and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t have to buy it for myself. CLOTHING
If you know me, you know I am always happy to get new workout clothes. This year the brands I have been really loving are Vuori, Alo, and New Balance. Vuori’s Uplift legging is so comfortable for running and I love this Mahogany color. Alo has all my favorite essentials but especially their hoodies, and New Balance 1080s have become my absolute favorite running shoe. I may or may not have bought myself these things for Christmas, so I’m extra excited to know they’re right under the tree (in my closet) waiting for me.
Last but certainly not least, one small, seemingly silly gift has been one I am especially excited for. I recently discovered these organic cotton underwear and now I cannot get enough. They are so soft, comfortable, and make even your basic boy shorts feel luxurious. I think that’s what gifts are really about anyway, getting someone a little piece of daily luxury they maybe wouldn’t get themselves (if you’re shopping for me, please know this is me asking again).
